IBC CONTINUUM and Web3.0 Alt Hack at T-Hub
· A common platform for Engineering Colleges and University students to learn, develop and showcase their coding skills and win
Hyderabad, November 22nd, 2022: IBC Media today announced the launch of IBC Continuum Web3.0 Hackfest Challenge for professionals and students across India at T-Hub, Hyderabad. Shri Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, ITE&S, Government of Telangana, inaugurated the event in the august presence of Shri Shrikant Sinha, CEO, TASK, Shri Srinivas Rao Mahankali, CEO T-Hub and Shri Abhishek Pitti, Founder & CEO, IBC Media.
A joint organising team, comprising of various state governments, government agencies, industry participants and IBC Media, also announced the second edition of the International Blockchain Congress IBC 2.0 being supported by Polkadot who is the headline sponsor for the IBC’S agenda. The theme for this year’s Conference is IBC 2022-23 CONTINUUM. While Hyderabad had the distinction to host India’s first-ever, and Asia’s largest conference on blockchain, by International Blockchain Congress (IBC) in 2018, the second edition, IBC 2022-23 CONTINUUM, with internationally acclaimed speakers, informative and engaging sessions, networking opportunities with industry leaders and government think-tanks, will continue to build on the new vistas that IBC 2018 opened for developer & student communities across India.
One of the pioneering initiatives of IBC 2022-23 is the IBC Education & Certification Program (IBC Tech Voyage) exclusively designed to migrate the engineering student community form Web2.0 competencies to sought after Web3.0 industry-ready developers. The Program has a holistic, full cycle agenda which includes orientation & education by top blockchain and Web3.0 experts followed by training, brainstorming sessions, speed building with the guidance of top line mentors culminating in Demo Day and declaration of winners.
The objective of this program is to educate and engage engineering students with workshops, bootcamps, hackathon internship programs & certification programs, closing with live projects that will enable students to become industry ready and be included in one of the largest dev-engineering communities in India for major career opportunities. This is also an opportunity for engineering colleges to gain visibility and build their brand in terms of generating quality talent pool of industry ready Web 3 developers that will attract recruitment from global blockchain and Web 3 companies.
To this end, IBC is organizing Alt Hack, which are on-ground Hack Fests in 3 cities in India. There is a substantial prize money, upward to INR 1 Cr, on offer.
The first of these series – the IBC HackFest Hyderabad is slated to kick off on November 22 at the Tech Mahindra followed by an intense 8-day hackathon which has training, brainstorming and mentor-led speed building sessions culminating in the Demo Day. IBC hackathon will also offer participants custom-made courses designed by international Web 3.0 companies resulting in direct recruitment.

IBC is partnering with colleges who will benefit from upscaling students in the latest blockchain & Web3 technologies via various programs, international certification, and recognition (Parent-Principal Award) as a pioneer in Web3.0 training. It will also result in college level recruitment drives where successful students stand a chance to be selected by top blockchain & Web3.0 companies.
