Suharth Foundation, in collaboration with Sankhetha Foundation, successfully conducted a comprehensive Medical Camp and Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program on 19th November at Kasturba School, Rasoolpura — a school with a majority of girls coming from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.

The initiative focused on free medical check-ups, distribution of organic sanitary pads, and educational sessions on menstrual hygiene, ensuring that young girls receive the support, knowledge, and resources they need to lead healthy, confident lives.

The event was honoured by the presence of prominent personalities, including Abhinav Sardhar (Actor, Producer,Businessman & Political Leader) who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, and Priyanka Tare (Mrs. India Universe 2025 & Mrs. Telangana 2025) , who joined as the Special Guest and extended her support towards the cause.

Impactful Awareness Session on Organic Alternatives

Hiteshi Dutta, Founder of Suharth Foundation and Ecozen, led an in-depth awareness session for the students. She emphasized:

The importance of menstrual hygiene

The long-term health and environmental hazards of plastic sanitary pads

The need to switch to organic and sustainable menstrual products to ensure a healthy body and a healthy planet

Her session aimed to empower young girls with knowledge, break myths, and encourage responsible menstrual practices.

The event witnessed strong leadership and support from Lalitha Ji, Founder of Sankhetha Foundation, who played a key role in the planning and execution of the entire camp.
