JNTU Hyderabad Hexawatt Racing Team with Varcas EV MOU


Hyderabad September: JNTU Hyderabad EEE Department, under the guidence of HOD Phanashree, has entered into a memorandum of understanding with electric vehicle manufacturing company Varcas Automobiles Private Limited.

Through the MoU with Varcas Center of Excellence, students will get internship opportunities in areas such as electric vehicle engineering, battery systems, power electronics, motor control, embedded systems, vehicle integration, telematics, thermal management, vehicle dynamics, diagnostics, testing, and validation.

Along with hands-on experience in the EV sector, engineering guidance, technical resources, spare parts, procurement, and testing-related technical expertise will be provided. They stated that this collaboration will help create technical knowledge, documentation, test data, and engineering practices that can support research and development in the future.

At the same time, they said it will enable students to gain more job opportunities in the fields of electric passenger and commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, battery systems, charging technologies, vehicle controls, and retrofitting.
